Galaxy InfoTech was founded in 2011, with the vision of addressing the single most important question facing Australian IT industry in recent time – shortage of rightly skilled and qualified people for the right job at the right time.

In line with the vision, we identified three strategic areas to operate in – Recruitment, Consulting, and Rightsourcing.

  1. Consulting: On board with us we have veteran IT consultants who are recognised as subject matters experts in their respective technology areas (e.g., SAP, IT Services, SDLC, Software Testing, Architecture, etc.) and industries (e.g., Natural Resources, Finance & Banking etc.). These consultants, employed by Galaxy InfoTech and contracted out through various contracting/hiring models, work with renowned Australian and Global businesses such as BHP Billiton, Chevron, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), to name a few.
  2. Recruitment: This is the primary focus of our business. Due to the hands-on consulting experience of our founders and leaders across various industries in Australia, we understand how to carry out proper fitment analysis for candidates with respect to the job requirement. We DO NOT simply search through candidate’s CV to “find a keyword”. We use our industry-specific experts to assess job roles, evaluate candidates through our own methodology and framework, and identify suitability. We also actively use social media tools (such as LinkedIn) to identify appropriate resources, and also research on the history and experience of potential recruits to ensure all grounds are covered for our clients.
  3. Rightsourcing: On the occasions where our clients neither want to hire a resource, nor to rope in our consultants, but want to outsource a part of their non – value adding and non-strategic processes, we chip in with our third capability – “Righsourcing”. We have dedicated off-shore outsourcing centre based in India with state-of-the-art technologies and facilities. Our local Australian experts identify the right team/resources in our off-shore centre for the right job and then train them and transition the process off-shore.
